^yes, hard even to watch. I can sort of forgive it in young people who have been brutalised and are trying to work out how the world can be filled with such extreme violence. But once you grow up a bit, there's no excuse for it. Likewise with video games like Grand Theft Auto, and all the TV shows that use graphic scenes of murder and terror for entertainment - hate it all. But then, I am an extremist. x
Unheralded, a 30 minute interview with Alison on BBC Radio 4 this afternoon, "Voices Of...". It was really good, including some new things - including the poignant revelation that her Dad didn't like her voice - "it wasn't posh enough" - and that led her to make it small and indistinct. Also that he used to whistle while she painted.
I’ve been on a Nils Frahm binge lately. He brings this neoclassical-electro ambience, that just hypnotizes me. Excellent traveling music..eps. at night.
This is ‘Says’ by Nils.
