Her depth of soul shines through. She has the ability to make me cry. This depth of feeling distinguishes performers for me. We need more of these type of Artist's..the one's who share their soul.

Just found this old recording of the Au Pairs. i saw them in Leeds in 1981, when Lesley Woods stole my heart and created the archetype for all my subsequent relationships. Such a badass. When the band's agent asked her to "sex it up a bit" for a forthcoming TV show, she said, "Sure" and promptly shaved her hair off. Later she became a lawyer, specialising in defending asylum seekers.
