    Remember Chris Liebing? He who remixed Goldfrapp's Everything is Never Enough?
    Well, Goldfrapp have returned the favour remixing 'And it all went dark' ft Polly Scattergood, and it's very dark, brooding and, well, Goldfrappy!

    I listened to the original last night and you are right PG, it did need more bite. Amazing how those A typical Goldfrapp string arrangements add a dark edge to things. Poor old Polly's vocal mostly ends up on the floor.
    She supported GF at their last Somerset House gig, being another Mute artiste.
    Those little voices in the background on the remix certainly sound like Ms A though!

    Yeah, I've always loved their string arrangements..I've a thing for strings.

    Just saw this. This ad would've been better if another beautiful belle climbed in the car with her.

    That's the best recording of "Wild is the Wind" ever! You can find it on the 'Wild is the Wind' album, sold in combination with with 'High Priestess of Soul.'

    Her low velvet voice, trembling. The gentle pleading, confessions. A feeling taking over she cannot control, her voice rising.

    Her piano is elemental. I can only compare it to the effect that wind has on rain..what it does to it- how it controls the sound of it. First the light drops.. a sprinkle, then a swirl. It dances from then on, scattered and blown..then quiets. It begins softly once again and culminates, builds into this triumphant monsoon..

    Mesmerizing
