Let me know what you think, UT. I'm really curious. For me, it really brings out the full flavor. I use a French Roast and it really brings it to life. I've brewed coffee every way I could find (including cold drip) but a mylitta filter and boiling water is the best.
The cold drip? No. I really don't like the coffee press but that's probably because I like a filter.
No, the cold drip is this gadget that your drip cold water, about one drop every few seconds. It takes all day and is quite good. It's just tricky to warm because it is too easy to burn it. I used to use a double boiler but, really, I never did perfect it to the point that it was any better than the mylitta filter and water at a full boil. It astounds me now to think about how strong I used to make my coffee. I used to fill up the filter within an inch of the top with grinds. It's no wonder my heart does flipflops nowadays.
The melitta filter is, well, I provided a link. You just pour the full boil hot water through the cone (with a paper filter installed, errr, and coffee, of course).
Oooh, I think the 'wild unknown' is the one the gorgeous Florence Welch uses. Such a beautiful deck. Last time I did tarot was with a really cool old Cuban dude. He kept saying I was going to a jewel in the sea. I found it really odd, but soon after I found myself on a plane to Ireland- the 'Emerald' Isle!
