I had a few like that, UT.  I still have "You've got the silver" on Let it Bleed digitized with the skip.  I never could buy a digital version of any Rolling Stones album.  They are just not the same without scratches and skips.  Then there was a Crosby, Still, Nash and Young song, "Wooden Ships" that began to skip while I was tripping my brains out.  It must have skipped at this one point for hours and I just thought it was the greatest song I had ever heard.  It had just skipped in a place in a place that worked perfectly.  It never skipped again and I missed it.
