Does that name you right handed, or one of the chosen few? Only left handed people are in their right minds.
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ. Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancal half a line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
I was wondering if anyone else has ever had the experience of watching a movie, or hearing a song, or reading a book and not liking it, to find later that you like it a lot? Sometimes, for me, it's just the mood I'm in spoils it, I guess.
By the way, if you happen to be in a spot that sees a partial eclipse don't hold your breath, it's anticlimactic. Even at 75%, if you didn't know it was happening, you wouldn't notice. Maybe 90% is interesting.
Well, today would have been my Fathers 96th birthday. He always said that Hitler and Neville Chamberlin had a funny idea as to what made a suitable 18th birthday present.

Has anyone seen The Accountant? I thought it was awesome. Sorry, Serenity, I didn't think it fit the Ultimate Film of All Time ... at least unless I found a few other people that liked it as much as I did.
Well I would have tried to find the discussion about online news sources but you know how that goes...Aaaaarrrrggggghhhhh! Anyways...
Awhile back I asked for suggestions for the best online news service. With exposure to The Guardian and past exposure to things like The Herald Tribune, I was fascinated with the news services outside of the United States. While maybe not as choked by bias as the Chinese media, the U.S. service is a bit, let's say, limited in scope. Anyways, here are a couple of examples of why I am completely fascinated with BBC. It's not the news so much as the pulse of life that goes far beyond what most the view of the past two minutes that most media provides.
The two last articles (one actually from a U.S. service that references London) go into what I have been saying for years. I know most people on here don't like to go into anything beyond amusing anecdotes on this site (which I've never completely understood), but just in case y'all like to read things that affect our world in a timespan somewhere beyond the next five minutes, I thought I would note these articles.
The first one I just thought was a brilliant honoring of Van Gogh. It's flipping amazing what they did.
Amusing anecdotes are what's keeping me from sliding into a depression at the moment. But...if you can't beat em, join em. Let's all be miserable. Seems like kindness and loyalty and having a sense of humour are out of fashion.
