  • Hi Everyone.. now half of me feels slightly arrogant posting about myself.. but then the other half thinks f***k it. So here we are! I'm a musician and wanted to let you all know about my music. I posted here about my project campaign last year, but felt I wanted to make a proper thread (I've tried to delete the old thread but to no avail.. help!)

I'm a Manchester based composer and arranger, so far specialising in piano pieces and works for strings, slowly (but surely) heading down a more electronic route.  I've worked on soundtracks for dance artists, piano arrangements for singer-songwriters and I've also composed pieces for weddings and other events. Last year my first album 'Changing Stations' was released on CD & double vinyl, along with digital releases on iTunes, Spotify, 7Digital etc worldwide. I successfully had this entire project funded via Kickstarter - a few of you on here donated to the campaign so once again, thank you!! The CD & vinyl were both manufactured / printed by Key Production, the company who made the Tales of Us album - a very proud moment!

'Changing Stations' is an 11-track contemporary album based on the 11 main lines of the London Underground and composed using Grapheme Colour Synaesthesia. My Synaesthesia enables me to envisage numbers, letters and words in colour, so I have assigned each track its own colour; marrying together the tube line in question with the key signature its composed in. I have based the mood and feel of each piece using my own experiences on the Underground and implemented it into each track. For example. Bakerloo Line - Brown = the letter G = Gminor.  Central Line - Red = the letter A = A major.

To read more about me and the album you can head to www.changingstations.london - It's available to buy on CD & double vinyl from the shop, and you can also download / stream in full on iTunes / Spotify.

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit.
Shall lure it back to cancal half a line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.

  • Are the first nine tracks on the expanded edition identical to those on the original?
If I were dead, could I do this?
