The venue was the shittest in the world, though. After being allowed to get in 15 minutes early, us peeps with wonky legs etc, bowled in to find the front of the stage and the only seats with a (partial) view of the stage already occupied by about sixty 12 foot tall, 7 foot wide "O2 priority" blokies.
Me and two wheelchair users ended up in the seating area right at the rear, unable to see anything but people's backs. To add injury to insult, we were underneath the aircon. I actually had to get my coat back from the cloakroom because it was so cold, and the woman next to me had to resort to sitting with her anorak hood up the whole time.
The standing audience at the back couldn't have had a much better time of it either.
Not so much seeing Goldfrapp then, as being informed that we were in the same room with them as they played.
