Superb gig and very varied set list. 2nd row from the front in a lovely small venue too.
I didn't have anyone talking around me. Lots of dancing though.
Great, powerful version of Anymore (didn't like the video version much but live is very different). Some strong new songs too including Ocean.
And ... got to shake Will's hand at the end.

Clip of Ocean, featuring the smartest implementation of strobe lighting in the history of the band's live performances:It's everything I hoped the live version would be like. Please, keep using those strobe lights. So, same band as the TOU tour(s)? Is Angie still with them? Thought I remember reading something about her taking some time off. Looks like the same drummer from the TOU period? He was a fantastic drummer and added some welcome heft to the few bangers they played then.

Was a rather good gig I thought. The O2 priority queue has been going on for years so nothing new. The slight delay I had was instead of scanning etix Bar codes n crossing ya name off a list as per 100 of gigs of late, you went to box office and they gave u a deli counter slip to take to the general queue. Pointless but that's what they're doing. I'm still waiting for my cheese.We all look better in the dark.

Ocean came out really well.The strobing was immense! As was the bass hiccup at the beginning of 'Lovely Head'.Alison's pantaloons were flapping away big time!
Anyway,fantastic gig.Alison on great form.Angie was playing with a broken wrist! New girl Hazel is very tall! Seb & Charlie providing steady drum and bass.Great to see Alex and others.Bit of a piss up with the e-tickets/getting in the venue.Think I'll stick to getting a regular ticket next time.

The gliding synths are very immense.It's all very analogue,squelchy synth goodness!Apart from 'Anymore' & 'Ocean' I haven't heard any of the new stuff until last night,and I'm blown away.Every new track is so bloody good! Silver Eye is definately a contender for album of the year,and it hasn't been released yet.
