Hopefully the situation with TOU forced them to tighten up security a bit and this thing won't leak until the releases start trickling in. I would love for another song in the next week or so, though.

Agreed. I sincerely hope it doesn't leak, but given the upbeat energy of the album and popularity of such releases by the band, I won't hold my breath.

But yeah, now really is the time for the next single.

I'm 99% sure it'll be Systemagic, but I'm hoping for Ocean also.

I contacted one of the Japanese music sites I have bought from before as I am dying with anticipation for what the bonus track will be... Basically got told to follow this page as they are the label that will market the Japanese edition and copyrights take a while for any track to be included. We shall see...

What is the purpose of leaking albums anyway? Seems far too malicious for our peaceful duo, who i'm sure would mumble expletives about it over a cup of tea and some biscuits

It's beaten TOU by a long shot. Seventh Tree as well I believe leaked like 3 months in advance. Give it a week or so and I dare say it's beaten Head First as well.

So yeah, so far it's their best kept album in around 10 years.

I believe they must be extremely confident that it won't leak, otherwise (after the fiasco of TOU leak), I cannot believe they would have announced so early and delayed actual release so long. Still seems strange, actually.

Every Goldfrapp album has leaked - I think the leak closest to the release date was Felt Mountain. All the others were at least a week beforehand.

And, your point is? Are you attempting to lay a bet on?
