  • Reminded me of Twist with a bit of Slide In as well.
I'm at work soIbeed to listen again later but that was my initial impression.
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit.
Shall lure it back to cancal half a line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
  • Or do I mean Tiptoe?
    Need to listen again.

  • It's definitely Frapp with a nod back in the direction of BC. I like the up beat tempo and the 'twist' synth probably not as much of an innovative departure as Inwas expecting. Will need to listen to it a few more times in a darkened room but looking forward to the rest of the album. I guess they'll be a scramble for Round House tix...... Just wondering what the TOU fans will make of this - more heckling from those that are not true fans?
What if the Hokey Cokey is what it's all about?

  • Anyone hazard a guess that there will be another single or not?  Seems like there won't be, but I can't see why there won't be another one for two months...
Soon be nothing of this world.
  • Bass in Anymore gives me an erection. That's all.
    Formerly known as alex_t.

Usually two months before album mean a second single right before.

  • This completes the circle of Alison's Electronic adventure. where it all began.

  • Love the single btw. Hope the album has this 'tone'

  • I love the slight Black Cherry style, I was hoping for the fizzy rawness of that era to come back.

With John Congleton as a producer too it does have a distinctive style that I hear from St Vincent as well.
