At the end of the year, we'd put in our supply requests for the following term. I'd order nothing but pencils, lined paper, and dry-erase markers. The following August, I'd find in my stacks case upon case of each. It was partly because they were less expensive than the other teachers' fancy folders and gadgets, but mostly because the office manager adored me. When I left that job, I had so much paper and so many pencils & markers that I could've gone into business.
