    (I know some of you dislike poetry, but I love it)

    STRAW

    One more...in a long list
    Your Venus deserted and tinder dry..Gone black
    Destined for certain Abyss.

    I was born to break free
    Because I didn't have your eyes..or blood
    Forced inside..I wondered the how's and the why's
    ...my wall, my wall...safe as the burgeoning gardens of Hiroshima.

    And you-
    A faulty light switch, a dead battery
    Wet as a match head-
    You..offered no relief..my wall, my wall..go on
    Another-

    Just.one.more....

    The weight is excessive..unbearable
    It is the last one- it has to be..it has to be

    The crime goes unnoticed
    No prints..no witness, no telltale blood or
    Open wound...the wall

    Down to the last one...now
    You won't let me down..I have carried the burden too long
    Your faithful camel..I've endured squelching desert and
    False mirage.

    No more...this is the
    Last
    One.
    U R I E L

    i like poetry, its deceptively difficult to write. and a talent that i definitely don't possess.

    I like it all so far, and if I didn't I'm not the sort of person to be mean about someone's creative effort. We all have different abilities, maybe it sounds hippyish and I don't really care, but I am sure every person has creative abilities at some point, there's also no denying some are more gifted than others eh. Dare I use a George Orwell quote 'All animals are equal but some are more equal than others', I probably shouldn't because that will be taken well out of context. Nice work y'all, I'll contribute again some time I hope ;)

    Bought one of those cheap macro lens that clips over your phone back last xmas , this is one of the test photos I did of my cats ear , when the darned four legged fidgeting machine stopped moving

    I got an inexpensive extension tube for my Olympus.  These are some of the results...
