Not so much listening, but watching. If you are interested in the history of popular music and the progress of how music has been recorded through the years and how new techniques have changed the way musicians make music, then you should be watching Sound of Song on BBC 4 on Fridays at 9.00am. In three parts, we have already had Two, so you will need to go to the BBC I player, but well worth it as the program is fascinating.

I love this album Stevil. I bought it when it first came out on vinyl and recently bought a new copy as the old one had a scratch. In our hall, on a beam bulkhead, we have 'All that we see or seem, is but a dream, within a dream ( Edgar Allan Poe) as an inscription. Propaganda never achieved this pinnacle again IMHO. In fact, I believe they only released one other original album and a remix album.
