  • Imelda May - "It's good to be alive".

I think I've found another group that I may like as much as Goldfrapp.  Knockout.  And, so far, she hasn't missed on a single song.  I just hope I can find her in the U.S.

  • Gaz Coombes, 20/20 from his album Matador to be released the end of this month.
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit.
Shall lure it back to cancal half a line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.

  • Tori Amos doing "Father Figure." Funny listening to it now knowing George had meant it for a man.

  • Bjork's new album Vulnicura.

So excited I could just spit!

    So far its brilliant!!!

On second listen...I have to say its a real return to the Homogenic and Vespertine eras - no bad thing. Some of her most beautiful songwriting is here.

  • Now I'm excited Hunter! She's one of my all-time faves! I need to get back into the Bjork loop- great news. See, it just goes to show ya..some artists just get better and better with time- she's a force.

  • Bjork has been my fave since I was 14 years old...almost twenty years ago. I think she had the strongest run of albums for any artist from Debut to Vespertine. A decade of brilliance...Medulla was good but lacking something and I enjoy parts of Volta and Biophilia but have been waiting for a return to form. I am so happy that this album is Homogenic strings with Vespertine beats and mood...as those are my two favorites. Check it out. Every song on this new album is stunning (unlike her last few). On my fifth listen thru.

    Bjork is back!!!!

I am so obsessed with this album right now...I cried while listening the first time and I ain't no sissy.

Right now Mouth Mantra and Black Lake are my faves but I love all of them.

  • Noticed you posted some Tori, PG. It's funny, my three faves as a kid were Tori, Bjork and PJ Harvey...that Hips Tits and Lips cover made me squeel.
