  • FKA twigs - LP1

Delicious and brilliant! Call me obsessed.

  • Gordon is a moron - Jilted John, from 1978. Popped up on iPod shuffle. Downloaded originally to piss off a work colleague. How juvenile I here you say but it gave us 3 seconds of fun!
What if the Hokey Cokey is what it's all about?

I take the needle off the Technics and put it in my vein
  • Today, on the Iggy Pop show on 6 Music, he played 'Is that all there is' by Peggy Lee.  A very unusual song in a cabaret style; a million miles away from 'Fever'.  Listen to the backing in the chorus when Peggy sings 'Is that all there is?, then let's keep dancing'. First off it was the Tuba that did it, and then, that whole part in the song reminded me of 'Ompah Radar'.  Worth a listen.

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit.
Shall lure it back to cancal half a line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.

I LOVE this band. I was lucky enough to see them in Brighton in May standing what seemed like 1 metre from Sarah's crotch! :-) Slightly more intimate than i thought it would be. I was also stood infront of an 'all girl' Sarah fanclub ;-).

  • Niiiiiice Tatt! They played the end of June here, but I found out too late..dammit! It was at a very small venue too, oh well..so much for admiring Sarah's nether region.. :( . They're actually playing this song on the local radio station now- good exposure.. :x
