  • Proof this theory works - `Pizzas with a cheesburger crust` , from Pizzahut circa " very recently" - Pizzahut are metaphorically just one small step away from bumming the Queen live on TV by inventing this .

We are in total agreement on this.  In fact, I think it may be virtually the same as bumming the queen live on TV.
  • Are you guys saying it's a good thing?
  • We don't have such menu items in US Pizza Huts. Is it a chav thing, or something?
If I were dead, could I do this?

Its living under the catch-all "anything invented after you`re 35 is against the
natural order of things" - akin to the aforementioned gogglebox a la Regina Bottom session . It couldn`t be worse if Piers Morgan shat out the toppings personally .

I`d say it`s for the burger chavvyy types that have decision making issues .

  • H P Lovecraft described one who would eat a cheeseburger pizza thus:

I cannot even hint what it was like, for it was a compound of all that is unclean, uncanny, unwelcome, abnormal, and detestable. It was the ghoulish shade of decay, antiquity, and desolation; the putrid, dripping eidolon of unwholesome revelation; the awful baring of that which the merciful earth should always hide. God knows it was not of this world—or no longer of this world—yet to my horror I saw in its eaten-away and bone-revealing outlines a leering, abhorrent travesty on the human shape; and in its mouldy, disintegrating apparel an unspeakable quality that chilled me even more.
  • My theory is a little different.  Most anything invented to charge you on a monthly basis, is a pain in the ass.  Especially if there is a one time pay alternative.
  • Wait! You mean to tell me that one only rents the cheeseburger pizza?

One probably only keeps the cheeseburger pizza for a short time before it has to be vomited on to the pavement.  In effect, it's only rented.
  • Cheeseburger pizza (w/ bacon!!!) sounds awfully good to me.

Hmmm, Iuv, I was actually referring to Douglas Adams theory on technology.  And, food is supposed to be necessary and it is somewhat rented.  But, I've always had this theory that I never got around to testing that, food, air, and water, are all just addictions of the human race with severe withdrawal symptoms.  I may test that theory yet.
  • I'm wondering who gets the job of choosing popular (or not so popular) song for movie soundtracks?  What a great job!  It seems like a few people on this site could do a great job at it.
  • Just finished watching Helen Mirren in, "Prime Suspect".  Wow!  How depressing!  Do a lot of British shows go the depressing route like that?  Loved the acting, the overall show but absolutely hated most of the endings.  Who wants to watch someone fail miserably?
  • I've never watched 'Prime Suspect', and am thus unable to comment on it, but not all British shows end in depressing ways.  Perhaps you should watch 'Sugar Rush' or 'Noggin the Nog'.
