I totally missed your Thea remix. Where is it?

Aaargh! I've listened to it over and over. I can almost pinpoint what the problem is but I lose it at the last second. I think I just don't possess adequate depth of theory to understand and explain it.

Jools Holland mentioned Thea being released this Monday, that does not appear to be the case, Mute website has it listed 17/18 March. I am fairly certain it's a digital only release.

Now I like the WaWa mix.

That's definitely going in the right direction. Builds nicely but keeps you waiting for the big stuff.

They should pay one remixer to do a big, definitive number (like say Freemason's Uninvited) rather than splitting it up between a whole bunch of em.

they've been listed for release as MP3 only on Amazon.Com (US) for March 25th

Sad the remix has more plays on soundcloud than the radio mix.

Is this really getting a release? because i cant see it on amazon, itunes or 7digital?

All i know is the name of the tracks-

Thea (WAWA Hungrey Moon Extended)
Thea (WAWA Hungry Moon Dub Mix)
Thea (Twin Shadow Mix)
Thea (Blood Diamond Mix)
Thea (Red Top Mix)

and i only know those because a friend is a DJ and told me about them.

I just stumbled upon the great Under The Curs cover versions of (mostly) 80s songs by Twin Shadow. Thus I was full with excitement for his Thea Remix.

So far I don't like any of the officially published ones. It's not that I don't like the electronic/dance remix approach, but they all sound so badly uninspired Euro plastic club trash. :/

Blood Diamond is quite listenable though. Röyksopp or Woodkid could give it a nice spin.

It's probably an Original Mix only track. Which isn't that bad at all.
