No I missed it on BBC4 (and on I Player) so if it's on DVD I'm on the hunt for it, thanks Border_Mind, I thought my chance to see it had gone.
Spice Girls? wow I am surprised but I guess if you take it out of its pop industry context, Girl Power could inspire you ... I was also surprised, and a bit humbled, that punk was also an inspiration: I dunno, it seems like Pussy Riot and their supporters took it a lot more to heart than many punks here, and good for them and bad cess to the wannabees here, I say.

You're so right there Corgi, I read a comment somewhere that went something like 'Pussy Riot took on the establishment and the Sex Pistols signed to EMI'. I am a bit of a cynic when it comes to punk, so I won't get started, just to say there's elements I love and other elements I loathe. I guess with the Spice Girl thing, it's the law of unintended consequences eh ;)
The Punk Prayer movie is currently on youtube so this discussion seems a good place to post it, hope it is available for all to see.
