Sophie Ellis-Bextor is about to launch a new album. Amazon.co.uk lists two versions of it, one a couple of quid cheaper than the other:

I, too, doubt whether it was Sophie herself. But I can't have been the only person wondering about that. Or can I?

I've had an ear worm, off and on, for days. The voice is female, punky and manic. I think the lyrics are:

I wanna have a baby
And I wanna have it now

I'm thinking that it's probably not an actual pop song (released as a record) but rather a joke song from a television sketch show. Smack the Pony? Morwenna Banks on Absolutely? Anyone any ideas?

Her songs sometimes sound like ads, but I'm not sure this fits your description very well.

Oh, well. Then, maybe it was a jingle. It should show up in a search if there is any song with those lyrics and it doesn't.

Which is one reason I think that it may have been from a comedy sketch show.
