    My New Year's Resolution for 2014 is to learn how to sleep well so that for once I might be able to stay awake long enough to see the NY in next time!! As it is tonight....zzzzz....early night....cocoa and book etc.....Ah well! Been a busy Christmas. Health and happiness to you all. xx

    ^ haha, apparently WW's listed date-of-birth is a bit of misdirection... but I have it on good authority that he *does* indeed have a birthday this year!

    Now that the festive holidays are well and truly over for most people let me wish a Happy New Year to all and best wishes for 2014.

    Thoughts of the UK tour in March should help us deal with the gloom of January and February.

    Today, I received an email inviting me to apply for (free) tickets to Jools Holland's Annual Hootenanny.  I find that it's recorded on December 10th.  It may be naive, but I previously thought that it was broadcast live at New Year.  Now that I know it isn't, the thing seems a swizz, a fake.  Poo!  Like other Jools Holland TV shows, it's recorded at Maidstone Studios in Kent.
