Ha! I was kinda wondering after the comments posted here. The movie gives the sense that the poem (first stanza/four lines only) was anti-government, whereas a lot of the comments seemed to indicate that it was a lesson in following your appointed goverment (burning effigies and all that) in all things. Of course, the idea that any gonvernment would celebrate someone like Guiy Fawkes by instantiating a holiday didn't seem to make sense.
