  • Hi all, I'm new here.

    1. Deer Stop. I love every single nuance in this song. The strings, the different vocal effects, every piano stroke...one my favorite songs ever.
    2. Utopia (prefer the Genetically Enriched mix)
    3. Paper Bag
    4. Pilots (prefer 'On A Star' version but I love both versions)
    5. Lovely Head
    6. Horse Tears
    7. Human
    8. Felt Mountain
    9. Oompa Radar

Damn that was hard. Overall I love 1-7, and I still do like 8 and 9.
  • awww, i'm kinda sad to see oompa radar dead last in so many lists! although i know that doesn't mean y'all dislike it per se

Though we may deserve it, it will be worth it.
  • 1 utopia
    2 lovely head
    3 pilots (on a star)
    4 human
    5 paper bag
    6 deer stop
    7 felt mountain
    8 oompa radar

  • This is really hard...I thought I had it but then half way thru listing I had to stop because I kept rearranging them. I know Paper Bag is first and Oompa Radar is last but other then that...sheesh. This is in my opinion a perfect album. From start to finish. I love every song and 13 years on I still listen to it several times a month.

I had a king in a tenement castle, lately he's taken to painting the pastel walls brown. He's taken the curtains down. He's swept with the broom of contempt, and the rooms have an empty ring. He's cleaned with the tears of an actor who fears for the laughter's sting...
  • Tricky one but here goes:

    01. Utopia
    02. Felt Mountain
    03. Pilots
    04. Human
    05. Lovely Head
    06. Deer Stop
    07. Oompa Radar
    08. Horse Tears
    09. Paper Bag
  • How can you guys so easily quantify and hierarchically list songs like this?

I... genuinely cannot grasp the concept.
  • @Kiyuri the ones in the middle are always difficult but I'm guessing that most people have their favourites (they'll go at the top) and then there are the ones why you wonder they put it on the album at all.

The interesting thing would be if someone was able to collate all the results to create an Oober set-list which would not please all but would take in to account the view of the majority.
Though we may deserve it, it will be worth it.
  • I usually go track by track and decide if I like that song better than the one after it and so on.
