I understand that joke now.  ;)
Though we may deserve it, it will be worth it.
  • Love a bit of Shappi Khorsandi. Her twitter feed makes me smile pretty much every day and she might also be ridiculously gorgeous too.

I'd love to see her and Omid Djalili on one bill having a comedy Persian-off.

I'd be interested to see some clips of your favourite Khorsandi jokes.  :)

  • Alexei Sayle started his career as a stand up, I accidentally came across this little clip on youtube not a stand up sketch but funny nonetheless

    It's a re-creation

  • Here's another one from Alexei, it reminds me of something to do with this forum, Word Association ;)

I thought the scene in the pub could easily have translated into standup, apologies if these clips really belong in the TV sentimentality thread, I won't make a habit of it, honest guv

@Border_Mind: I loved the Dire Straights clip, ironically the biscuits I am eating at the moment are "Nice" both figuratively and literally.  :))

I didn't say that I disliked her Carpy it was just that she just hasn't been on my radar. If all her material is that good then I should start paying more attention - loved it :)

Excellent stuff - she has an odd sense of humour, mixing the political/ethnic stuff with the quite daft. Certainly worth watching out for.

  • Stewart Lee was excellent tonight at The Cheltenham Town Hall.  However, the audience were a little straight-laced and he really had to work hard to get the laughs.

    I enjoyed it though.  :)
