@Alan I don't know if you noticed but the defalt layout for these message boards is set to order the posts according to the voting system. E.g. If your post has one up vote it will jump up ahead of all the posts with '0' so will appear higher on the page even if it's been posted after everything below it. Anyway there's a setting under the original thread post that lets you change the order from 'Votes' to 'Date added' so they stay in the correct timeline!
