The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ. Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancal half a line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
I don't know why I came up with that word. I have been watching a Tudor documentary and back in those days, all marriages especially ones of royalty and nobles had to be consummated. Which can't of been nice for the poor married couple. Thank the Lord we have moved with the times as to live back then would be brutal.
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ. Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancal half a line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
