Hmmm. "Tiny mood moments". Had to laugh. I really hope it goes well. I know how you feel, gone through similar. It really takes dedication and commitment that it's worth it. I've always suggested a vitamin cereal (like Total, but Walmart has a great substitute) to help the mood. It seems to be the vitamin B stuff. I'm actually totally fascinated with something called, Niancinamide, lately. It helps your cells regenerate. And I defintely feel the difference. It's like I lost 20 years. Not sure how it works on mood but, interestingly enough, it manufactures B3 in the system!
You can get apps for recording your own CBT diaries..I have a similar one to record sleep cycles etc which sends feedback to the " experts" to analyse and then they can tailor personal help. I'm going to use it when I return to work and as a support to my coming off Prozac. At the moment, being off work, I'm generally sleeping ok. There certainly is an app for everything!
I am no expert, but I have worked for a MH organisation for many years and the most common reason people come back into our facilities is that they take themselves off their meds because they are no longer having the symptoms, and forget that the reason for this is that they are on the meds. Sort of Catch 22.
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ. Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancal half a line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
Yeah, I realise that UT. But it frustrates me, as I've said before in the MH thread, that doctors don't do the six monthly check ups anymore ( they haven't got the time and when you've been on the tabs as long as I have I guess they think it's a lost cause). Therefore I'm trying to self-help, but I am very much tuned into myself and know what symptoms to watch out for if they creep back. It's hard to be chemically castrated, brain-fogged etc for 25 years and not know what it could feel like on the other side ( be afraid folks, be very afraid...lol).
Now, that's cool and actually reported on a major news source!
What is really annoying is how little fanfare this received. One could call it another conspiracy theory or just another example of the stupidity of the media.
Wow, that really is something to cheer. And it's an attractive structure too. Meanwhile here, over the pond, we've got Hinckley Point nuclear power station to give thanks for. Not.
It'd take about 8,000 of these machines to supply water to all 39M Californians; another 1,500 to keep 7M Arizonans in drink, bath, and toileting. Mind, that depends on how the water usage statistics I used were calculated. Considering how advocates tend to the more extreme circumstances (perhaps, total water used in the state / total population), it'd probably be a bit less. Still, public usage & tourism would have to be cut noticeably. We'd have to eliminate golf courses, swimming pools, etc; ban grass lawns and reward xeriscaping.
Now, that's considering we relied completely on desalination--which would not be the case.
