If you mean as cold as the arctic, yes. I josh a little (-20F) in that right now is the glory of this place. It's very cool at night and gets to around 25C during the day and that should be for the majority of the time between now and October. The brtual cold is worth it.

^ our scarborough is quite bracing as well ww. my friend went uni there, i went to visit and we danced with ewan mcgregor in the local club who was in the area filming little voice. and one of the brontes (i think anne) is buried there, thats all my scarborough knowledge :)
