Hi WW According to Mrs UT, the image is 'Soap Factory of Bagnolet' by Alphonse Mucha. Some intenese internet searching trying to link any key word you can remember to this image title may prove fruitful.
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ. Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancal half a line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
Apparently, this figure was used with various backgrounds to advertise soap and Whitman's chocolate, and was perhaps used for a calendar (or that might just be referring to Mucha calendars).
The background you have posted, WW, might be the original. If you search images of 'Alfonse Mucha Zodiac,' you might find what you're looking for. Your post piqued my interest, but I can't stay focused, as I keep getting sidetracked by images of his other gorgeous works.
Ok. Further investigation has discovered that Mucha, a Chech, reused a lot of images, changing the detail slightly to suit whatever he needed it for, like a different brand if it was being used to advertise. The image you have WW is closer to 'La Plume' as it has the same shaped banner at the top, which Soap Factory does not, just without the wording 'la plume' in it. The hunt continues.

Actually, make that Zodiac La Plume as the title. Iuventus is right in that it started of as a calendar, la plume being the company producing the calendar. An original poster of this was up for sale recently with a reserve of £2,000 and a projected sale of £3-4,000. Yes, a poster on linen backing.

Looks like something from a Renaissance album, but I've already checked their discography,
Hey, great minds as they say. First place I went was the Renaissance web site. Saw them in concert many year ago, around the time of Northern Lights.
