Crumbs! It's a long time since I was last up at 5:18 AM (apart maybe for a quick visit to the toilet). You should definitely go to bed. You seem to be 5 hours behind London. I'm guessing that puts you somewhere in the eastern part of the USA.

Looking at Amazon.com, it says "usually ships in 1 to 3 weeks" which presumably means that it's now out of stock with them.

:) Yes, whenever I'm feeling down they know just what to say that cheers me up. I'll never forget the time when Ponygurl said; Banana, I think I may live near you, and when A_is_A told me about finding a feather and as God as my witness there was a feather one day in my backyard!

Knowing they live in the Sunshine State gives me a warm feeling. xxx

Alison is somewhat in awe of writers (of novels). Well, she said something to that effect a while ago.

It's great that you're doing this, Peter, especially (no offence) at this time of your life. :-)

Well, I'm sure you've been writing for many years, but i think it's only fairly recently that you've had books published?

Maybe Alison will write a novel one day... Possibly under a pseudonym.

No offence taken. I am 67.

I've been writing for most of my life, but only turned to novels comparatively recently.

I'm not sure how a young person can have the experience of life to write a novel.

Well, this explains a lot, Pet. I already let you know in the Weather-thread that I liked your story about the toy car being blown upright by the strong wind. I also liked your remark on a not-functioning clock that is correct twice a day, but being disturbing the rest of the time. You sure have a certain way of choosing words or something that attracts attention (at least my attention). Now I know that you are a writer. Funny that it shows even in very short stories or loose sentences.
