    Old (and rather glorious) Cabaret Voltaire stuff.

    Somehow this all sounds dated yet still completely fresh. Considering some of this is more than 30 years old now (!) that's quite a feat!

    I have the Laura Veirs album (Warp & Weft) on repeat. Might as well because after next week it will probably be Tales Of Us.

    Gonna be a crackin' week for music especially coming off new ones from -

    Neko Case - The Worse Things Get...
    Volcano Choir - Repave

    Ooh, and a new Arcade Fire song too!

    There is to much to listen to...I need more ears and more time!

    I'll add Factory Floor, The Gathering, Katatonia, Carcass, Ulver, Charlie Jones, Sub Rosa, Gary Numan & Roly Porter onto the list too.

    It's going to be  busy, expensive and very enjoyable couple of months!

    Oh, I wasn't even going for the couple months. I mean just the 8 days between last Tuesday and next Tuesday (release day for us in the states) has emptied my checking account.

    The great news is so far I've really liked to flat out loved everything I've head from the releases I listed.

    It's nice because even though the Internet has exposed us all to a lot more music and made it possible for artists to get their music out there I also feel like the quality of music hasn't necessarily increased. It seems as if I slog through quite a bit of mediocre stuff to find anything I'll remember in a month let alone play in the years to come.
