I listen to what seems to be termed Chill when I need a boost, Serenity. A couple of examples to follow. Some classical and some jazz does as well.
Vargo - Talking One Language.
Great song. Too bad it's not that easy. It will takes a little more wit on mankind's part to end all of the nonsense and the split decisions in which everyone is wrong.
I don't know if you've ever heard of "The Princess Bride". There are two versions. There is the movie and the book by Morgenstern. You should really read the book. I think you would like it. It goes far beyond the usual happy ending that everyone likes so much. It really cracks me up. It is part of the puzzle of life to me. The finest thing on Earth and, yet, almost invariably it falls apart. There's a reason for that and it's linked closely to why it is that women know how to love and men are just crazy. Well, it's all liked to that, really.
Well I listened to Tales of Us for the first time for over 6 months today. I had forgotten how achingly beautiful and haunting it is. A step away from the uptempo Frapp certainly, but an absolute masterpiece. It clearly shows how much the strings are missed on Silver Eye and leaves you wondering exactly what that album would have been if the tracks were blessed with some strings on the tracks.
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ. Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancal half a line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
Wow I just viewed a trailer for the Film 'The Princess Bride'. I must say that the Prince is very dashing and hot. I wouldn't mind being his damsel in distress.
Yeah...anyway. Ahem. I shall be watching it. Looks romantic and historical. x
The Princess Bride book is what I was recommending. It's more in tune with the song you chose from Katie Melua. But, the movie brilliant, though it completely leaves out the part that the song reflects.
Hmmm, Careless Whisper is one fine song but I don't see the connection,. Maybe the horns?
