I feel heartbroken at leaving, given that I'm a typical loyal Taurus- type...it's taken a lot to push me to this decision after 18 months of unhappiness. But now it's made my head is in a good place and I'm feeling very optimistic, looking forward and keeping my options and ears open. I visited two schools today ( mainstream primaries), one of which I will be applying to.
I wish, Whispered, that I could retire 15 years earlier than planned ( and that's 8 years earlier than the loony govt reckon we should! ), but until that Glitter-Unicorn parks up on our drive and flies me away then I ( hopefully) still gotta be on the payroll. Supply teaching is an option, as is going private as a specialist teacher, as is leaving education altogether. Hey ho.
But I'm good, I'm happy :)
