Yes (the new Instagram page even follows Mute itself), but likely under new terms. Perhaps they're working with a per-album contract/arrangement now and not one spanning several releases like before? I find all of this fascinating, really.

Ever since the band put their glam rocker attire and slinky electro-funk away, there has been less marketing and whatnot, and Head First being dismissed by the band themselves as "not their favourite" album - along with other things such a…

It's happening! They're getting everything ready for the next album era, without a shadow of a doubt. I give it two weeks for an announcement or major hint of some kind.

Hows the new album coming along ?
The fact that she took the time to reply to specific queries pertaining to the title is very interesting. To me, it looks like they're trying to kill any rumours or speculation, leaving the reveal confusion-free when it comes to the title. I do…

Yep, sure enough everything is back now. Interesting!Normally (and from what I can tell), the only time a catalog almost completely vanishes on iTunes is when they're setting up a page for a new release pertaining to the artist(s) in question. …

An interesting little development: All studio albums, singles and other "official" releases by the band are missing from iTunes Canada except for Melancholy Sky, A&E Remixes, Judas Remix, Thea EP and Tales of Us - quite a substantial c…

Very excited that, at long last, era number seven is about to commence. Hopefully we'll hear something by Christmastime. REALLY hoping for an energetic and wild sound akin to "Thea" on this one. After Seventh Tree and Tales of Us, I&…

Gosh, I thought everyone east of Toronto were bilingual. I'm surprised! I would definitely take Paris over, well, anyplace in the world. But, that's just in my dreams. It used to be like that, but the influx of people from other count…

I'm psyched for you, Slippage. One of my favorites. Her 9/11 song is just tremendous (and, of course, tons of others). So, you're right coast... sorta. I just love Montreal. Errr, actually, it's been so long since I've been …

The St. Lawrence is quite a ways off from Ottawa, unless if one drives (and there's little need to do so in such a city). French was never a strong suit of mine, but thankfully it isn't "enforced". I'd highly suggest sticki…

Yeah, Kat, but think of what fun it would be if your agent, manager, and whatever other middle-men were involved were doing their job. I'm really hoping Slippage is onto something. That would be what I was waiting for all these years. That G…

Gah! Don't do this to me! Alison also announced the band being featured in a mix playlist today - for Orlando, mind you, but they do seem keen on gaining the public's interest when put into perspective alongside the spike in radio play. S…

Loving the new album. The synths are hard, crunchy and remind me of skittles, for some reason (and no, I don't know why). My only complaint is the inclusion of the male vocalist (whose name escapes me at the moment) on certain tracks. With LM,…

Her silence is usually when we ought to get excited. I'm pretty sure she's working like mad in the studio as we speak. Watch, she'll just come out of nowhere with a single announcement. They always have the element of surprise!

Sigh.... Sam Granny Smith. Not the worst choice, but I would have preferred the Frapp over it, or even Lana Del Rey (who would actually do a brilliant job most likely).
