Felt Mountain GOLD Vinyl edition
Is the new reissue prone to the same audio quality/compression issues of the white reissue from a few years back? I remember seeing a lot of complaints about it paling in comparison to the original pressing back then.

Rescheduled gigs for Felt Mountain 20th anniversary tour
I’m so happy for you all to be able to see them live once more! My god, does the band ever sound great (Alison’s looking incredible - that hair and makeup!!! - and sounding stronger than ever, even nailing Anymore which sometimes appears to be a tou…

Great track. Her vocals and those high notes… straight-up Utopia/Slippage (heh)/Fifth Element vibes. And Alison hinting that more is coming soon…. I don’t think it’s Royksopp related at all, either. Feels like album 8 needs more time in the oven. P…

I’ve had enough of the Royksopp song and haven’t even heard it, all thanks to the absolutely idiotic way they’ve been teasing it. Without ever crediting Alison. They can take their giant yo-yo and stuff it where no one go-goes. Anyway, I too wonder…

Completely scatterbrained and delusional approach to “releasing” this track. More than a few people rightfully pissed off and tired of the sliver-of-carrot-on-a-stick nonsense. They ought to give their heads a shake and egos a few less strokes. Mos…

How’ve you all been? Hope everyone’s staying strong, both in respects to the pandemic and the drip feed of whatever in the world Alison is up to! I’m floored more than anything that they didn’t get to do the Bond theme for No Time to Die. Remember …

I would love to see them take on either a dark, stringy and sombre or tropical, tribal approach. The latter would definitely tie in with her understandable rock obsession!

I was nervous too! Felt like sitting down over tea with her. She was clearly uncomfortable too at first, lol. She should do a Reddit AMA, more than anything. Would give her more time to read questions.

Such a lovely person! She answered my question about working with Boards of Canada towards the end (kinda!) and lit up like a Christmas tree at reading the band's name. Really struck a chord with her! Mum on Vangelis though, which leads me to b…

I think it's an east coast tour including New York, Canada, and South America, in addition to a reissue with b-sides. Maybe. Or a film. Actually, I think a film, yeah. Either a live taping or an art film. Hopefully with Lisa directing and an ac…

Oh great. Now I'm getting visuals of her in lounging in bed wearing a dirty t-shirt with half a dozen empty beer cans and two empty pizza boxes while watching the darts, with her glancing out the window to ensure she isn't getting caught. …

I think, for me, it's that the album behaves like a cocktail of ingredients from previous records. It's a wonderful album worthy of the Goldfrapp name, and Systemagic is the track I always hoped from them, but now, I've reached a conc…

Kylie? She's working away on a new album — and hopefully one that's actually deserving of her name, image, and talent as opposed to the Pharrell-manipulated mess that was Kiss Me Once (in my opinion). New label too, so I'm not super w…

Tales of Us, unconditionally. That album has a special place in my heart. I really hope they revisit such a lush soundscape again. Wouldn't complain if they stepped away from electro-dance after Silver Eye, at least for a while.

I'm so glad they chose Systemagic, as their first television show performance in this era albeit. I'm so getting a single/music video vibe from their treatment of this track. Hopefully, I'm correct. This track will print money.
