What are you listening to now?
Hmmm, best way to describe my tastes, I think, is to say I like songs that knock me over. All of the ones you mention have some of those songs. in General, most artists have at least one song that knocks me over.

The Cure's 40th universary concert. Guess who are invited
What I would do to attend a concert in Hyde Park...five days of some very fine music! Sounds like a good way to spend some summer days to me.

There's something special about real mail. Pass messages by homing pigeon! That would be something very special. Kinda like a secret decoder ring. I used to have a program that would embed messages in a photo. Silly but fun.

There you go. Some people get nosey (postal clerks, for example) and some hunker down.

Iuv, it sounds like we have a ringer if we were to read a Shakespeare play.

The only book I was recommending the chapter by chapter was Tolstoy's books since they are so big. No, I've never visited Cambridge. I expect you are talking about the campus itself? I think I've driven through the town but not sure…

With age, you discover his works are full of violence, duplicitous behaviour and pathos than any modern soap opera you can name. That is the trouble with a lot of Shakespeare.

I’m annoyed that every time you send a parcel in the post now you have to explain EXACTLY what’s in it. Maybe I just have an extremely nosey local post office, maybe I’m just over-reacting ( I’m a private person). It’s especially grating when there,…

I've read all of his poems. Mmmmm, I have all of his works but I never got through them all. I won't say I didn't like it. It just didn't enthrall me so much. Some of it did. Any in particular that you like? I'll try V…

I just started reading Tolstoy's Anna Karenina and War & Peace. I'm glad I did. He's a really good writer. That ought to keep me busy for awhile... The best book I've read lately was Patti Smith's Just Kids. Very baf…

I doesn't take much to get me crying, either. I consider that a human quality. The view of what is considered manly nowadays, disgusts me. I prefer the idea of gentlemanly and consider crying about sadness part of that. Crying is good for t…
