a long time ago i was in London and picked up a lot of teas. then, a friend from Wales gave me some Welsh tea.
it has to be thirty or forty years that i've been trying to figure out tea. i've at least found what works for me, finally.
a filter and a tiny scoop (1/4 teaspoon) of tea is the best i have found. anything stronger wrecks my stomach, unlike coffee. that's probably just because i did not grow up with tea as a regular staple.
someone on here had suggested that their dad(?) reused the tea leaves. i am stunned to find that i can make four of five cups using that tiny scoop of tea. thanks for that suggestion.
unlike coffee, i still can't taste the difference between the flavours of any black tea. i figure that's just my unfamiliarity.
i really do like tea, though (after a couple of cups of incredibly strong coffee). it gives me a slow infusion of caffeine over the course of the day. for me, that is critically important.
