By the way, the moderator is Halloween Jack. I think he is named that because he usually shows up around halloween.

I'd like to just be able to stick a photo from my phone on here without the constant upheaval. I will try again later when I can muster the energy ha!

Remember S, you cannot post a photo directly to the site. It has to be from another site. This is the way whoever set this up has decided to combat the introduction of viruses. Persevere with Flickr as I have mastered posting from there to here and can advise if necessary.The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.

It is also possibly to do with space. What you store on here is a link to the other site where the picture is stored, not the picture itself. This is why, if you delete the pic on that remote site, it will no longer appear here.The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.

Hi folks. I messaged the 2 "higher-up" admin people on here back in NOVEMBER asking if they could give mod duties to someone else, as I'm just not on here that often. But have had no reply at all :-(

I'm one of 2 people assigned as moderator on this forum, but to be honest - I'm not involved much these days.
I don't think there are any current issues, but - as the other mod ('The Carpathian') isn't active here either... would it be possible to give mod permissions to another member? ie someone that uses the place frequently.

I don't really see a dire need for a moderator, really, HJ. Your powers are so very limited that there's nothing that could be improved and there doesn't seem to be any problems. I certainly wasn't disparaging your efforts in any way in my comment above. There's no need for you to visit unless you just feel like taking part. It seems you have other efforts that are more important? To you liking?By the way, I think she sees any and all tweets that start with 'at'whatever her twitter account name is.
