I thought I'd begin a new thread cos I'm interested in the places where other Frapp fans live, especially as some are abroad or in other parts of the UK Ive never seen. Maybe it would be nice to share some photos of our local scenrey and favourite haunts? (Did you think this was a thread about pubs?!). The thought came to me as we were out walking our doggies this morning in UT's old stomping crowd, a place called Crowland on the Fens. If this works, here are a couple of pics I took (slightly touched up!) to get UT in nostalgic mood....
It would be really great to see where others hang out.
Oh wow, beautiful Kat. They look like postcards-nice job! I know everyone seems to be on Instagram, etc.- but it's nice to see stuff on here too. I'd love to see everyone's too.
U R I E L What is done in the dark will always come to light
Oh dear - You opened the flood gates for me boring everyone with my snap shots. I've started a 365 project - taking at least one pic every day for the whole year. This is two of em from January.
You are correct Kat, but I was born just across the border in Wisbech, Cambs. My father was a choirboy in that Cathedral though as he was born in Crowland. We moved to North Essex to Clacton on Sea when I was 5. Clacton is a typical enclave as it is at the end of the railway line and nobody drops into Clacton because they were passing, you have to make a purpose journey. We moved inland to the village of Tendring in Essex nearly 10 years ago. Very rural as shown in Appy's photos. will post another photo later on. It has just struck me that Clacton is very much like Key West in Florida in many respects. The people are just as odd ( no offence Key Westers, but you are quite unique ! )

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ. Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancal half a line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
We have this 3 mile walk around the fields of the local farms. Some bucolic views. A typical English farmhouse
A couple of friends, one big, one small
A irrigation pond/fishing lake on the walk

@WW I want to see some from you- aren't you in Maine I believe?
Yeah, I am, PG. Unfortunately, I'm not much into pictures. I feel like the pictures can never capture the essence. And, yet, all of these pictures are so astounding! Well, I'll see what I can find.
