Gig in Stoke-on-Trent (a wish)

    never seen Goldfrapp live due to travel sickness (no travel sickness tablets work) so can't get to 95% of u.k venues which is a real pain in the ***, so i'm really hoping they finally do a venue in or close to stoke-on-trent 1 day be a dream come true that, been a fan for 8 years now & it's really getting to much can't take it much more :(

    Ha ha good luck there. I used to get sick but acupressure bands worked 4 me. 10 miles was my limit as a 10 year old. Still id happily vomit away if it meant I got to see em live.i only get it now if I read or dont face the front or eat too soon before travelling. Im such a twat 8->

    sugamill is a bit... small? and a bit grotty. even though i LOVED it. :p

    victoria hall or regent theater in hanley but i've forgot how big they are? /:)

    oooh, whatever happened to that place that was being done up? down the same street as the big chinese buffet place? it was a really old stone building. that would have been nice.

    i havent been to stoke for ages. not since graduating.

    Well thought i'd just bring this back up.....
    so i managed to get to manchester in 1 piece (Just), so my horizon's to see Goldfrapp have expanded from around 10 miles to a good 40-50 miles... think London is still yet a little to far for me to take on just yet, but one day i might just manage it....... :)

    Victoria Hall, Hanley, Stoke-On-Trent. = seats 1,500.
    The Regent Theatre, Hanley, Stoke-On-Trent. = seats 1,600.

    both venues seem big enough for a Frapp gig?

    Haha, good luck with that wish! (My brother lives in Hanley but he's not a frapp fan.)

    Of course I'd love them to play here in Cornwall - some amazing venues. I think the one and only time was Eden in 2006.
