Any wedding plans KR? I still have my hat and a half written speech! Up your way at the end of July attending an Uncle's 80th birthday. Upwell I think (no pun intended but knock yourself out if you wish)! You look cute with the Alpacas. Do they…

Wasn't there the same theroy about Al-Queda? Perhaps they were not scary enough! What cracks me up is the view some of the media have that mirrors that of Spectre in the Bond films, with some Blofeld type No 1 plotting and planning at the top. …

In German, Dachs means badger and our little sausage bellied canine friends were used to hunt badgers, hence Dachs Hund, or Dachshound. Missing

Another returnee to the fold. Welcome back to the bosom of Frappiness Banana. She can sleep with whatever under her bed (suggestions on a postcard) as long as she turns out the goods.

Yes, for them it seems a win win situation. I have a friend on Twitter, from the old Toyah days, who earns his living by writing. He has recently noticed that he is now being asked to pay to submit short stories to publishers to cover admin costs. …

Interestingly, to put more substance on the word of mouth side of selling art, a number of Mrs T's buyers are repeat buyers. I suppose having breached the gates of confidence and having bought a piece, the decision to buy a 2nd piece is easier …

Hey, WW, I didn't align myself with the perceived top dogs, or agree with that type of strata, just saying it was one I have perceived in other similar environments. I have always been a maverick with the Groucho Marx view of not belonging to a…

In a return to a more light hearted vein, a joke to test cultural language divide. Johhny Craddock was long time suffering sidekick to British TV chef Fanny Craddock. One night, he had the last word as the show finished. He achieved Godhood that ni…

This is all, frustratingly, so true. Being married to an artist, I fully understand the dichotomy that presents itself. You only seem to be able to sell your work regularly if you are already regularly selling your work. This suggests that people wi…

New Florence album arranged by Will
Perhaps TOU was a concept album, with its eponymous titles and structure it needed to be viewed/listened to as a whole. It was a phase in A& W's writing relationship that they will probably move on from, just as they wanted to go up tempo f…

Have to be honest WW, you just used a word I had not heard before, so like all good scholars, looked it up and it now nestles in my volcabulary along with a lot of other odd stuff. Which is, in part, the point here. As Low says, just because this is…

As for the vagaries of posting on this site, we are the product of millions of years of selected genetic blending to get here and a few hiccups in some sloppy programming on the GMB is the least of our problems. Accept it as the challenge it is ! Ye…

What`s the last film you watched ?
H Rider Haggard's 'She' Pet. She, who must be obeyed. I have never seen the 1935 film, but I have seen the one with Ursula Andress in the titular role. It also had Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee in it as well.
