Super! Nature Notes
Good Lord! Bourton-on-the-Water is flippin' gorgeous! I just adore picturesque places like that. There are a few I've found in the U.S. But, this! Omidog! (or, your dog, UT. I don't actually have on at the moment).

That almost looked like twenty inches until I looked out on the field. I think Kat was right. Just another example of the big brouhaha that the media likes to make to get a few more clicks. That same happened here near the beginning of winter. T…

I know you are frustrated, S. Sorry about that. It seems hardly worth the effort. I was looking forward to the photos but I understand how frustrating it can get to spend hours on a computer to do a simple task and no joy in sight!

No, on photo bucket, if you look to the right of the picture, there's a link you can choose (I know, dumb as a bag of hammers) to copy.

Right! If you look at the link, it's a blogspot link. You would have to set up a blogger account, though, which means a Google account and enable blogger. Photobucket works, also.

Awww, com 'on. You had blogspot working! Also, photobucket's not bad. Iuv or I can help you with that one. It's been a long time so Iuv might do a better job, but I would try. It has been a community effort. I hope we don't…

Well, on the bright side (boy, do I look for the silver lining or what??!), S, you picked a perfect day to burn a lot of time learning the arcane, rigamarole structure of posting pictures on this site. It sounds like there wasn't a lot else to…

By the way, the moderator is Halloween Jack. I think he is named that because he usually shows up around halloween.

Hahaha! Tada!!! I thank you kindly. By the way, we have a chief moderator and his hands are completely tied. He can't make any really useful changes to the website.

Yeah, dropbox seems to be crap. Won't let you do anything unless you are logged in. I think that is the same with Flickr. I know that - what was it called, "Photobucket"? used to work fine but you had to make sure the photos weren&…

You realize the link above is not a link to a photo, right? It needs to end in .jpg (or other). Also, the link didn't work for me. I'm, again, wondering if your problem isn't that your settings are set to private on your photos site…

The other problem may be that the flicker account is private. Maybe you have to set your pictures to "public". This may make sense since you say you can see the pictures. Again, another good reason to post an example link. It would als…

On a browser, left click on the image, find "copy image address" (or copy image url or some such). It sounds like you are doing this, though. So, maybe you are not getting rid of the "http://" that is already in the dropdown bo…

Sorry for all your troubles with this. It's a pretty weird way to set up a picture interface. As weird as it seems, I guess they just don't want to have the storage on their computers (this eliminates that). Or, they are worried about v…

I'm glad you can, Serenity. I can't. Ummm, one more thing I thought of. You need to be sure to paste the link to the picture, not a page with the picture on it. I always thought this was a bit difficult to understand. I had trouble wi…

Sorry about that. I hope you find a way to make it work. England has such a history. Haha! I remember being in England with an English friend/associate on a business trip. I was going on about how I just loved all the ancient history. I looked…

Hey! You've got one working! The antiques store... Whatever you did there works! This is a strange site for pictures. Did you use the drop down image menu? Made sure you deleted the http stuff that is already there?
