What's happened to Carpy have'nt seen him for a while? I know recently he's been back in Shropshire, and hasn't been able to get onto the 'net. But he will be back home tomorrow (Friday).

New membership rules for the forum
Yeah, I cleared all (spambot) applications last night, and by late afternoon today, there were over 6000 new ones! Recently we have been getting about 1 genuine applicant/day, so hopefully with this invitation-only setting, very few would-be joiner…

Haha, good luck with that wish! (My brother lives in Hanley but he's not a frapp fan.) Of course I'd love them to play here in Cornwall - some amazing venues. I think the one and only time was Eden in 2006.

A pretty typical autumn night/day here, weather-wise. Forecasters obviously not wanting to underestimate its ferocity, so lumped the whole of the south of England into a 'danger zone'.

^Yeah, worth asking on here, Jozzy. A helpful GMBer might well have the odd spare ticket - for a reasonable seat. I got mine only a week ago via a member... and wild_corgi via another member - just a couple days ago.

^ Yes, I suppose after his serious liver problems (he had a transplant in May), this shouldn't have been so much of a surprise. But I was still shocked to hear this... he seemed immortal. RIP Velvet Lou :-(
